Paris: France will host an international summit on artificial intelligence (AI) on February 10-11, 2025, focusing on the environmental impact, accessibility, and global governance of AI.
According to a statement from the Elysee Palace, the summit will aim to promote sustainable AI development that benefits the public good while fostering inclusive global governance frameworks.
The event is part of France's efforts to strengthen its leadership in AI and bolster Europe's presence on the global AI stage. It also seeks to enhance public awareness of the key challenges posed by the technology.
Pre-summit activities will include scientific forums featuring researchers and economists on February 6-7, followed by cultural events on February 8-9.
